As a city renowned for tourism and its outdoor culture, San Diego has many third-places and entertainment venues that future ''Subway Builder'' updates may incorporate, including the following sites:
* ''Balboa Park'', an urban greenspace that contains the San Diego Zoo and dozens of museums, gardens, and theatres;
* ''Petco Park'', a 40,000-seat stadium that hosts Major League Baseball's Padres and several concerts;
* ''SeaWorld'', a large aquarium and amusement park that boasts several marine mammal exhibits and rollercoasters;
* ''Snapdragon Stadium'', a 35,000-seat stadium that hosts college football games, soccer matches, and several concerts.

The city also shares three ports of entry with Tijuana across the U.S.-Mexico border, including one of the busiest border crossings in the world at ''San Ysidro''.  A few miles inland, the ''Cross Border Xpress'' terminal allows passengers at Tijuana Airport to enter the U.S. directly without the need to travel to busier crossings.  Travel between San Diego and the border is a significant driver for the city's transit ridership in reality, and ''Subway Builder'' networks would benefit with reliable data found and implemented.
