== Map == The Washington, D.C. map covers much of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, stretching from Laurel, MD in the north to Quantico, VA in the south, and from US Route 301 in the east to Leesburg, VA in the west. This covers most of the major population centers of Prince George's and Montgomery Counties in Maryland, as well as the rapidly-growing counties of Northern Virginia. Greater Washington is a pluricentric metro region, with multiple downtown areas. Most jobs are clustered in downtown DC and Northern Virginia, such as Federal Triangle, the United States Capitol Building, L'Enfant Plaza, Rosslyn in Arlington County, VA, and the Pentagon (the second-largest office building in the world). Other major employment centers further out include Silver Spring in Maryland, and Tysons Corner, Springfield, and Alexandria in Virginia. There are two major airports: National Airport (DCA), near downtown DC, and Dulles International (IAD), located further out in Loudoun County. Washington DC has numerous major universities represented in-game, such as Howard University (Northeast DC), American University (Northeast DC), NVCC Annandale and George Mason University (Northern Virginia), and UMD College Park (Prince George's County, MD). A good starting route that will have high ridership starts in Ballston, traveling east under Fairfax Drive, paralleling the real-life Metro Orange Line, crossing under the Potomac River. There are numerous job centers near and along K Street, and terminate the line at Union Station. This line can easily be expanded to link up with the Pentagon, National Airport, or by following the real-life Silver Line route, Dulles Airport.
